2nd Issue of Churchology

The 2nd issue of Churchology is finally done!

I think this second issue came out a lot better than the first. The first one was a tentative experiment so I used minimal colors in it. My goal was just to get it done as fast as possible. I also didn't have a lot of room or time to try to break up the page layouts into more interesting designs for that first issue. 

For issue 2, I tried to vary the page layout a little bit more and I decided to throw in more colors but not so many as to make the coloring process tedious. 

I hope you enjoy this collection of movie memories. Some are funny, some are sad, and some are just plain stupid. My intention is that you'll be entertained and enlightened a little by reading through these comics. If you're a Bible believer, you've probably shared similar experiences and if you're someone who has ever struggled with depression I tip my hat to you. Don't give up. If any of these comics can bring a partial half smile to your face, that will have made the hours I put into making them worthwhile.

Judge Dredd Poster

I just finished reading IDW's 40 issue run of Judge Dredd illustrated primarily by Nelson Daniel. If you've not read it, it has some stellar artwork and acts as a sort of primer on Judge Dredd's universe. 

I love the character of Dredd. Everything is black and white in his world…and his shoulder pads are epic. I love drawing the guy.
