Pretty Weird Art is the love child of Bird and Ethan Mongin, two creatives living in Columbia, SC.
We've worked on various projects ranging from magazine illustration to clothing design. Our first loves are storytelling and making comics. We are science fiction and horror nerds, and have a habit of laughing at our own jokes.
When we aren't in the studio,you can find us at the local Waffle House or at comic book conventions and art fairs across the country.
To date, we've illustrated and published 13+ comics. Our current projects include graphic novels and collaborative art with musicians in the Metal music scene.
Bird writes The Adventures of Death Elf and Woose. When not working on comics, she paints pin ups, fantasy, and album art.
Ethan is currently writing and illustrating two graphic novels, Skull Gun Bunny and Demarcus Williams & the Job from Hell.
