I stumbled over the band "Avatar" on YouTube about two years ago and it awakened a love for European metal that I never knew existed inside of me.
This last week I've been thinking about one of my favorite albums by the band, "Hail the Apocalypse" and I wanted to do a poster based off the title song.
I've been doodling in my sketchbook and landed on the horsemen of the apocalypse as being my go-to imagery. Here's my take on the horsemen on an 11x17 poster.
I'm also working on a larger poster but it's a little more involved so it'll take me another week or two to complete. If you've never checked out the band, give them a listen. My wife and I have seen them in concert three times and they are great guys!
